Ringing Bells Smart 101 with 5-inch Display Launched in India: A lowest price 4G smartphone has been launched by Ringing Bells named Smart 101 in India. The handset is priced at Rs.2999. It comes with a display of 5 inch with a screen resolution of 480×960 pixels. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It sports a rear camera of 8-megapixel with LED flash and front facing camera of 3.2-megapixel. FHD videos can be shot using rear camera. The RAM of the phone is 1 GB along with internal storage of 8GB which is expandable via microSD up to 32 GB. The phone is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor. It further supports 4G LTE in one sim.
The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.00, GPS, FM and it also has dual Sim support. The battery capacity of the phone is A2800 mAh (removable battery) which is capable of giving 10 hours talk time on 3G and 8 hours talk time on 4G. The dimensions of the phone is 142.00 x 71.40 x 8.00mm and it weighs 125.00g, this shows that the phone is very slim and light weighted. It is available on dual tone colour options that is White/gold and Black/Grey. Although the Bell Smart 101 was kept for sale for one week but it is now ‘sold out’ as per the official website. The company claimed that within 72 hours of sale the phone got ‘sold out’. The current status of Bell Smart 101 is that there is no more sale but bookings may open soon as said by the company.
